A .pdf version of the entire Confession. The Westminster Confession of Faith (WCF)*, the Belgic Confession (a beautiful Reformation Confession), and the Canons of Dordt (from which the popular TULIP acrostic is derived). * another historic Reformation Confession. The WCF is the confession used by Presbyterians and is the document from which the LBCF is modeled. The original BCF was more simple and a bit more ambiguous. The Westminster Divines did a great job and the confession got wide acceptance quickly, which is why the Baptists used it's format. In fact, the LBCF is nearly a copy of the WCF with a Baptist twist. |
